Student Ambassadors Program

Are you a University of Pittsburgh student and want to volunteer for the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force? 

If so, join the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force Student Ambassadors program.

What is the PATF Ambassadors program?

Team of students committed to supporting the mission of PATF by:

  • Planning and implementing on-campus events and activities that promote volunteerism and raise awareness about HIV and other STDs, as well as HIV testing.
  • Hosting fundraising activities to sustain the program.
  • Positively engaging your peers, making a difference, and having fun!

Ambassadors are committed to promoting volunteerism, raising awareness of STDs including HIV/AIDS, and educating fellow students about what comprises sexual health and the importance of maintaining it.

Qualifications:

  • University of Pittsburgh student
  • Complete Act 33/34 Clearances, Confidentiality Form
  • Outgoing, open-minded and caring
  • Desire to learn and grow as an individual

Sun: Noon – 3:30 p.m.
Mon-Tue, Thu - Fri: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wed: 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

 

Food Pantry Hours*:
Sun: Noon-4:00 p.m.
Mon, Tues, Thu: Noon-4:00 p.m.
Wed: 3:00-7:00 p.m.

 

The food pantry is closed on Friday and Saturdays.

 

*Clients may use the food pantry once per month; Clients who are overdue for their 90-day updates will not be able to use the Food Pantry on Wednesday after 4 p.m., or on Sundays
