Food Pantry

Nutritional Program intern needed.  PATF's Food Pantry serves people living with HIV/AIDS with food, personal care items, and nutritional supplements. 

Requirements:

Interns must be currently enrolled in a college or university, with a background in nutritional education.  They must possess a desire and openness to work with individuals living with HIV, as well as with individuals of different sexual orientations, and who may have mental health and/or drug and alcohol problems.

Client Services

PATF's Client Services department provides support and programs to more than 1,000 HIV positive individuals each year. In order to meet the needs of our growing client base, as well as to provide a unique learning opportunity, we accept four-to-six interns each semester from colleges and universities.  A wide range of opportunities are offered to interns depending on their interest, school requirements, and the needs of PATF. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, crisis counseling, client caseload, transportation program, food pantry, research, and client advocacy.
