HIV Prevention Counselor/Tester
The Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force is seeking an enthusiastic HIV Prevention Counselor/Tester for a federally funded program targeting gay men. Job tasks include performing HIV testing and counseling in accordance with PA Act 148, developing and implementing recruitment activities, and completing all client records, statistical reports and outcome surveys.
The position requires a bachelor's degree, knowledge of the HIV disease, substance abuse and the harm reduction model for behavioral change, and the ability to counsel clients in relation to reducing their risk. Exceptional work ethic and ability to work non-traditional hours a must.

Communications/Fund Development Internship
Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force (PATF) is seeking a Communications/Fund Development intern to participate in a two- to three-day-per-week internship. Potential projects include the below:
Assist with media relations efforts:
Write press releases
Maintain media placements
Assist with press release distribution
Assemble press kits
Assist with social media efforts:
Write publication articles (newsletters, annual report, etc.)
Work with staff to create articles, releases and other written pieces
Assist with Fund Development projects, as needed
Planning preparation for special events
Create advertisements
Update website
Assist with publication production process
Other projects as assigned
