Reaching out to schools, churches, universities, corporations and community groups, the Speakers Bureau presents educational programs about the risks of HIV/AIDS.
The underlying message of our Speakers Bureau presentations is, “Through knowledge, you have the power to make healthy decisions.” By sharing the history and current understanding of HIV/AIDS, the ways in which it can be transmitted, what behaviors carry what level of risk, and what practices can reduce the level of risk, we empower audience members to make informed decisions about their health.
Currently, we communicate our message using a variety of methods, including video, slide shows with handouts, educational games, question and answer segments, and life-like props.
To request a speaker, please email us at patfinfo@patf.org or call 412-345-7456 extension 585.
AIDS 101 - provides up-to-date information about the history, transmission, risk reduction and statistics of the disease.
