SUPPORT PATF We are always trying to improve our events, and would like your input.
"PATF works hard to ensure that $.88 of every dollar your donate goes directly to fund our support and prevention services. (This far exceeds the federal government's standard of $.75 of every dollar.)"
REMOVING BARRIERS In 2007, PATF is focusing on removing the physical, psycological and social barriers that keep HIV infection rates climbing and stigmatize those living with HIV/AIDS. With your generous donation you can help remove the barriers of: APATHY & DENIAL - your donation will help PATF resound the alarm about the HIV/AIDS crisis in our community through our communications efforts and our Speakers Bureau. IGNORANCE - your donation will enhance PATF's outreach to teens and young adults at colleges, concerts, churches, and community centers to educate them about the seriousness of HIV/AIDS and reduce their risk of contracting the virus. HOPELESSNESS & FEAR - your donation will make it possible for our case managers to assess each client's unique physical, practical and psychological needs and link him/her to available resources. POVERTY - your donation will ensure that our food pantry, housing and emergency assistance programs are available to meet our client's basic needs. ACCESSIBILITY - your donation will enable PATF to move to clean, newly-renovated, second-floor office space, designed for maximum accessibility and located within one block of five major bus stops. LIMITED RESOURCES - your donation will allow PATF to be more financially independent and less reliant on restirctive and uncertain government funding. THE ALLIES PROGRAM The Allies Program was developed to recognize individuals who demonstrate their financial commitment to the mission of the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force by making a three-year pledge to support the Annual Fund and new office expenses at one of the leadership-gift levels listed below. Gift level Benefits $5,000 a year for the next3 years ò PATF will dedicate a highly visible area of our new office space (the lobby, elevator, board room, food pantry or testing suite) in your honor or in honor of your loved one. òA plaque inscribed with your dedication will be prominently displayed on the space for as long as we are located in that office space (a minimum of 10 years). òYou will receive membership in the Founders’ Society at the Visionary level, with all corresponding benefits. $3,500 a year for the next 3 years ò PATF will dedicate an area of our new office space (client intake room, children’s area, executive office or kitchen) in your honor or in honor of your loved one. òA plaque inscribed with your dedication will be prominently displayed on the space for as long as we are located in that office space (a minimum of 10 years). òYou will receive membership in the Founders’ Society at the Visionary level with all corresponding benefits. $2,500 a year for the next 3 years ò A large tile (6” x 6”), inscribed with your name, will replace a “barrier” on the Removing Barriers Wall in the office lobby. ò You will receive membership in the Founders’ Society at the Guardian level, with all corresponding benefits. $1,500 a year for the next 3 years ò A small tile (3” x 6”), inscribed with your name will replace a “barrier” on the Removing Barriers Wall in the office lobby. ò You will receive membership in the Founders’ Society at the Guardian level, with all corresponding benefits. $750 a year for the next 3 years ò Your name will be inscribed on the Removing Barriers Plaque in the Board Room. ò You will receive membership in the Founders’ Society at the Champion level, with all corresponding benefits. THE FOUNDERS' SOCIETY Established to advance PATF's mission, the Society honors the brave volunteers who founded PATF in 1985, and recognizes committed friends for their outstanding contributions to our annual fund. Visionary - $5,000 and above
Guardian - $2,500 to $4,999
Champion - $1,000 to $2,499
Advocate $500 to $999
Additional Ways to Support PATF Give through our Annual Campaign by direct contribution. PATF is a Donate by attending or sponsoring one of our annual special events, including the Pittsburgh Public Theater Annual Benefit. Buy the AIDS plate from Riverside Design Group's Plates With Purpose TM series and 15% of purchase will go to support PATF. Shop with Greater Good and 15% of your purchase will benefit PATF. Shop at The Great Frame Up and 5% of your purchase will benefit PATF. Cater your event with Catered Elegance and 5% of your purchase will benefit PATF. Buy an awareness bracelet from Until There's a Cure and a portion of the proceeds will benefit PATF.
